Albuquerque, N.M.
March 30 – April 1, 2007- Tingley Coliseum

Event Notes

The fastest growing sport in the U.S. that features the world’s top professionally-ranked bull riders and the industry’s rankest bucking bulls will be in Albuquerque, N.M. for three action-packed nights starting March 30 thru April 1. The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) will feature sizzling competition at Tingley Coliseum on Friday, Mar. 30 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 31 at 6 p.m., and Sunday, Apr. 1 at 2 p.m. for the Sandia Resort & Casino presents the Ty Murray Invitational.

This event is the 14th stop on the PBR’s elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) presented by Wrangler and will guarantee fans more than two hours of bull riding action each night including rock & roll music, pyrotechnics and an up close and personal view of the toughest sport on dirt. The Ty Murray Invitational will air live on the VERSUS network Saturday at 8 p.m. EST and then at 8 p.m. EST on Sunday.

PBR’s 2005 World Champion Justin McBride (Elk City, Okla.) will face another weekend in the presence of anxious fans to see whether he can take home his sixth event championship–which would tie the PBR record for most BFTS event wins in a single season. Another event win would help McBride widen his 904 point lead over J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.) who continues to hold down the second place spot in the BFTS standings. Adding to the list of top riders who are expected to make an appearance at the Albuquerque event include PBR’s first and only three-time World Champion Adriano Moraes (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Brazilian sensation Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil) and of course, New Mexico fans can’t miss the opportunity to come cheer native Travis Briscoe (Edgewood, N.M.).
