One lucky fan will become Stock Contractor for a Year!
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 12, 2007) – The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) and Ford Trucks are proud to announce the second edition of Ford’s Battle for the Bull Sweepstakes. The program is designed by Ford Trucks to challenge fans to test their knowledge of the sport of professional bull riding and its athletes–both four-legged and two. The sweepstakes gives an opportunity for five finalists to receive a trip for two to the PBR’s 2007 Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas, and one lucky Grand Prize winner to become a Stock Contractor for a Year!
The Battle for the Bull Sweepstakes is a unique promotional element designed by Ford Trucks to encourage interest in the sport of bull riding. Once fans have registered online, they’re entered to play and win. Each week they can return to the website and answer trivia questions about F-Series Trucks and PBR riders, bulls and events. Correct answers give fans additional entries into the drawing to become one of the five lucky finalists. The five finalists drawn will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to the PBR’s 2007 Built Ford Tough (BFT) World Finals presented by Wrangler complete with full VIP treatment, chute tours, exclusive seating, and lunch with PBR stars. Each finalist will be paired with a bull and two riders whose performances at the PBR BFT World Finals will determine which finalist wins the Grand Prize — Stock Contractor for a Year, which includes part ownership of the bull Super Duty for a full year, a meet-and-greet with HD Page and Dillon Page at the PBR BFT World Finals, and a trip for two to learn the ropes at the Page ranch. From all those who pick the winning rider, one fan is randomly chosen to become the recipient of the weekly prize package. At the PBR BFT World Finals each weekly winner will be paired with one of the riders in the Ford Super Duty Challenge. The team that places the highest at the PBR BFT World Finals will each be awarded $50,000 towards the purchase of a new 2008 Ford F-Series Super Duty.
